India kickstarts WTC Final Preparations, BCCI unveils new Training Kit

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a glimpse of the training session and unveiled the new training kit on its official Twitter handle, featuring Umesh Yadav, Shardul Thakur and the coaching staff led by Rahul Dravid. The India players were seen sporting the new training kit adorned with the team’s new sponsor, Adidas.

The preparations for the much-anticipated World Test Championship (WTC) Final are underway and the first batch of Indian players departed for England on May 23. Among the players were Umesh Yadav and Shardul Thakur, who kickstarted their training for the prestigious match at The Oval next month.

As per the reports, Axar Patel also accompanied the first batch of players. However, R Ashwin and Jaydev Unadkat are scheduled to join the team later. 

After the conclusion of the IPL, players will have a day off to spend time with their families before departing for England. Siraj has already flown to Hyderabad from Bangalore and will join the team in the coming week with the second batch of players.
