This statement came in the wake of India’s remarkable achievements in sports, with the country securing a record-breaking 107 medals at the recent Asian Games in China. During the inauguration of the 37th National Games at Margao’s Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Modi highlighted that these Games are occurring in Goa at a time when Indian sports is achieving unprecedented heights, serving as a significant source of inspiration for young athletes.

Modi highlighted several significant actions undertaken by his administration over the past 30 to 35 days. These actions encompass the approval of the Women’s Reservation Bill, India’s successful completion of a crucial test in the Gaganyaan mission, the introduction of the Namo Bharat trains under the Regional Rapid Transit System, and the initiation of ‘Operation Ajay,’ aimed at assisting the repatriation of Indians facing difficulties in Israel.
