India will look to start 2023 on a positive note against Sri Lanka. After a bitter-sweet 2022, India would look to gain momentum and consistency during a World Cup year. India will be playing 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is against Sri Lanka at home starting from January 3.
Hardik Pandya will lead India in the T20Is and is a deputy of Rohit Sharma in the ODIs. The talking point of the series is the non-inclusion of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the T20 format.
On January 10, 12, and 15, respectively, Guwahati, Kolkata, and Thiruvananthapuram will host the 50-over match, while Mumbai, Pune, Rajkot, and Mumbai will host the three games in the shortest format on January 3, 5, and 7.
