IND vs SA 1st Test Dream11 Prediction
Indians were given a reality check by the young but thirsty South African cricketers who beat the hosts in the final T20I to draw the series. Agreed, that predicting Test cricket performances based on T20I is not the right thing, but the only thing we are saying here is that the Men in Blue need to be a bit cautious. With Jasprit Bumrah out injured, Virat Kohli may have a tricky task at hands. While an experienced Ravichandran Ashwin is expected to make the cut, that would severely cut skipper’s options in the pace department. Umesh Yadav may be another decent alternative here. The South African side faced a disappointing 2-0 defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka in the last Test they played. But that was back in February, and a lot of water has run over post it.
India are the clear favourites here. They have the momentum as well as the home support on their side. Plus, as has always been the case, the Men in Blue have performed exceptionally well when it comes to spinner-friendly pitches. Although the Proteas have some very interesting pacers, this very point may be their undoing.
