The pitch showed signs of getting slow towards the end, thus making chasing difficult. If the conditions remain the same, the team batting first is at a major advantage.

IND vs BAN Dream11 Prediction
Until Sunday, India looked to be unbeatable. On their day, they slayed teams like West Indies and Pakistan with ease. When it wasn’t their day, they still won games, as was evident in the match against Afghanistan. However, everything changed on Sunday, as the last remaining unbeaten team in the competition lost the tag. It, thus, reminded everyone that the World Cup may not be an one-sided contest for India as it seemed to be by their initial success, and that they will have to fight hard if they are to become only the second country to lift World Cup on three occasions.
Injury, it seems, has taken a toll on the team’s performances. India took almost an eternity to solve the “Who will play at No.4?” conundrum before the World Cup with KL Rahul doing his job pretty well in that position. But swift injuries to opener Shikhar Dhawan and Vijay Shankar have now thrown the batting order in limelight.
Problematic if Indian batting is so heavily dependent on Rohit and Kohli to provide meat and substance and blitzy cameos of Pandya for flourish. Others have to put their hand up

Who should open? Should Rahul play in the No.4 spot? Should Dinesh Karthik be given a chance? It almost seems like India’s No.4 is a cursed position! Whatever be the answer, the Men in Blue (or Orange) would be looking to find answer to it as swiftly as they can with semifinals fast approaching.

Bangladesh will not be an easy side to play against for the Indians, especially when you consider their recent performances. In some ways, both the team’s problems are contrasting – while India are facing a challenge to discover their best batting order, Bangladesh are facing a daunting challenge with the ball. While their batsmen, led by star performer Shakib Al Hasan, have shown an intent to chase any total thrown at them, the bowlers have been failing to stop leaking runs away. The team has given away 300+ runs in four of the six games they have played. This includes the massive totals of 386 and 381 against England and Australia respectively. If India are to win this contest, they will have to capitalize on Bangladesh’s vulnerability with the ball.
India are the firm favourites to win this contest. Agreed some rework needs to be done in the batting order. However, that shouldn’t bother them against Bangladesh’s underperforming bowling attack. There is a huge gulf when we look at the two team’s head to head records in ODIs- India have won a staggering 29 games against Bangladesh in comparison to latter’s 5. If they are capable of taming Shakib Al Hasan, today’s contest could be a comfortable event for the Men in Blue.
It goes without saying that Bangladesh would go all out to upset India, especially with the World Cup semifinal berth at stake.
Predicted Winner: India
If India bat first, expect an onslaught of runs for two reasons. Firstly, the Edgbaston surface, much against its reputation, witnessed 336 runs being scored in the first innings just two days ago. Secondly, as said earlier, Bangladesh have leaked over 300 runs in 4 of their 6 World Cup contest. Conclusion: If at all India bat first, chose majority of the Indian batsmen in your side.
As was evident on Sunday, while batsmen are expected to score big in today’s contest, the spinners may face a nightmare. Try to avoid them.
