The India National Cricket Team will welcome Australia at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai for first of the three-game ODI series. India began the new decade with a crushing 2-0 T20 series-victory over Sri Lanka after the first match was abandoned due to rain and damp pitch. With this being the last encounter with the Kangaroos before the 2020 T20 World Cup, the Men in Blue would be looking to make the most of the contest.
Here is complete IND vs AUS 1st ODI Dream11 Prediction:
|Key Players in form||IND – KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Shradul Thakur, Navdeep Saini
Aus – Steve Smith, David Warner, Sean Abbott.
|Weather Condition||Partly Cloudy.
21 °C, 64% Humidity, Winds up to 14 km/hr. 2% Precipitation.
|Toss Advantage||The Wankhede Stadium is renowned for its short boundaries and flat pitches.
Traditionally, the pitch has been favourable for teams batting first. However, sides bowling first have won thrice in the last four games. In fact, the last time India faced Australia here, the Men in Blue had won after batting second.
Long story short: Team winning the toss will look to bowl first and take advantage of the dew factor in the second innings.
|Pitch Report||As we said earlier, flat surface means that spinners might not have that big a role to play on Tuesday.
In fact, with its short boundaries, the Wankhede Stadium is a batsman’s paradise.

Fantasy Cricket League Prediction | Tricks and Tricks for today’s match between IND vs AUS 1st ODI Dream11 Prediction
India started the new decade with the 2-0 demolition of Sri Lanka. However, four days after their series win, the Men in Blue will be facing a full-strength Aussie side beaming with confidence. After drawing the Ashes series 2-2 back in August, the Kangaroos have been on a winning-spree of sorts and are yet to lose a single match till date.
They recently won both the T20I and Test series against Pakistan 2-0 before putting New Zealand for a 3-0 clean sweep. And with no major injuries to show for, India will be up for a major challenge on Tuesday.
The Australian opening pair of David Warner and Aaron Finch are in red hot form with a reassuring Steve Smith there in the middle. Marnus Labuschagne has already proven to be a phenomenal talent in the series against New Zealand while Alex Carey remains flawless presence with the gloves.
The fiery pace attack is headlined by IPL’s richest bowler Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Kane Richardson.
India, on the other hand, will be back with the full-strength squad as well, with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma, and Mohammed Shami all returning back.
The only headache for the selectors might have will be – who will open the innings for them? While Rohit Sharma remains the obvious choice, it is at the opposite side that the things get trickier.
“It’s a good dilemma to have. Rohit is an obvious choice of course. Both of them Shikhar and Rahul are playing well. Shikhar has done well in ODIs (and) Rahul is in great form. The management will sit down and make the choice. I don’t see it as an issue and one of them will have to sit out, so that’s okay,” batting coach Vikram Rathour had said on Sunday. Whatever be the case, one thing is for sure – Tuesday’s encounter will be a blockbuster one!
Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli (c), Manish Pandey, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (w), Kedar Jadhav, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Navdeep Saini, Yuzvendra Chahal
David Warner, Aaron Finch (c), Marnus Labuschagne, Steven Smith, Alex Carey (w), Josh Hazlewood, D’Arcy Short, Ashton Turner, Pat Cummins, Kane Richardson, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Ashton Agar, Peter Handscomb
- Considering this is a batting-friendly pitch, try choosing between at least 5 batsman.
- The likes of Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah become an automatic choice considering their familiarity with the surface.
- Marnus Labuschagne deserves a special mention. At 8.5, this young prodigy is an absolute steal.
