ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Schedule, UAE & OMAN: The long-awaited T20 world cup will finally kick-off after a 1-year delay. The 7th edition of the tournament kicks off with the Round 1 match between Oman and Papua New Guinea on October 17th. This cricket extravaganza was supposed to be held in India. But due to the covid pandemic, the BCCI had to shift it to UAE and Oman. There are some exciting encounters to look forward to. India will begin its campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on October 24th in Group 2. While Group 1 kicks off with Australia facing South Africa on October 23rd.

The Round 1 fixtures will complete the super 12. Round 1 will commence from 17th October till October 22nd. Group A: Sri Lanka, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Namibia Group B: Bangladesh, Scotland, Papua New Guinea, and Oman. The Top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the Super 12, A1 B1 & A2 B2. Super 12 will commence on October 23rd.
