Virat Kohli has 899 points while his deputy Rohit Sharma is a close second with 871 points. New Zealand’s former captain Ross Taylor is in the third place with 823 points closely followed by England’s Test captain Joe Root with 807 rating points. Pakistan’s Babar Azam is on the fifth spot with 802 points.
India has its 2 bowlers in the top 5. Bumrah leads the table with 841 rating points. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is on the second place with 788 points. India’s spin wizard and Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav is on number 3 with 723 points. South Africa’s fast bowling sensation Khagiso Rabada is fourth with 702 points followed by Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman with 695 points.
No Indian player features in the top 5 of the All Rounders list. The list comprises of Rashid Khan, Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammad Nabi, Mohammad Hafeez and Mitchell Santner respectively.
England leads the table looks set to remain the No. 1 team in the world when the 2019 Cricket World Cup starts at The Oval in May. Eoin Morgan’s English side has been dominant in the ODI format for many years now. They are the numero uno with 126 rating points. Virat Kohli’s team India will look to play catch up as India is set to play Australia and New Zealand back to back.
