Within moments, the vehicle ignited, but fortunately, the 26-year-old managed to escape with the assistance of locals. Despite this stroke of luck, he sustained significant injuries to his head, back, and feet, including a ligament tear in his right knee and multiple cuts on various parts of his body. Promptly taken to a nearby hospital, the cricketer underwent intensive rehabilitation and training. Now, he is poised to return to professional cricket in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. Reflecting on the near-fatal incident, the cricketer, hailing from Haridwar, revealed that doctors had initially informed him that recovery might span 16-18 months.
