Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant were rested for today’s match. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan opened the innings. Suryakumar Yadav played a marvelous inning scored 65(31). Rohit Sharma and Ruturaj Gaikwad couldn’t contribute much with the bat. Ishan Kishan 34(31), Shreya Iyer 25(16), and Venkateshwar Iyer 35(19) unbeaten.

Nicolas Pooran knocked his 3rd fifty in the series. Later, Shardul Thakur dismissed Nicolas Pooran when he was playing on 61. West Indies openers were not able to accord much. India restricted West Indies on a total of 167/9.

India lost each of the three ODIs in South Africa however they have played well and bounced back by winning the last six matches. India did a lot of experiments in white-ball cricket this season. Many players made their debut and passed with flying colors. Now, Rohit Sharma is the captain in all three formats. It would be exciting to see his role and game.
