Four Nations Para Badminton International: Indian Team Takes Home 18 medals

At the Four Nations England Level 1 Para Badminton International, conducted in Sheffield, England through August 2–6, 2023, the Indian para badminton squad took home 18 medals, featuring three gold.

At the Four Nations competition, the seventh round in the Paris 2024 Paralympics qualifying campaign, the men’s doubles team of Pramod Bhagat and Sukant Kadam, the women’s doubles team of Manasi Joshi and Thulasimathi Murugesan, and Paralympic winner Krishna Nagar all brought home three gold medals for Country.

On Sunday, seven shuttlers competed for the top prizes in various divisions of the prestigious competition.

In the SL3-SL4 division, Pramod Bhagat/Sukant Kadam prevailed against Deep Ranjan/Manoj Sarkar in an all-Indian finals. Krishna Nagar defeated Paralympic Krysten Coombs to take first place in the SH6 division.

In addition to the three gold medals, Indian shuttlers also took home five silver and ten bronze.
