The match, held at London’s Lee Valley Stadium, saw India exact revenge for their previous 1-2 loss against Belgium. Captain Harmanpreet Singh emerged as the star of the game, scoring two crucial goals (20′, 30′).

India began the game with a bang, securing an early field goal in the 2nd minute courtesy of Vivek Sagar Prasad, assisted by Gurjant Singh. This set the tone for a dominant performance from the Indian side. With excellent ball control and a strong attacking structure, India continued to mount pressure on the Belgian defense.
Harmanpreet Singh showcased his prowess with a powerful drag flick to convert a penalty corner in the 20th minute, extending India’s lead to 2-0. Just minutes later, Amit Rohidas capitalized on a well-executed attack, courtesy of a surprise pass from Mandeep Singh, taking India to a comfortable 3-0 lead at halftime.
Belgium managed to pull one back with a field goal from William Ghislan in the 46th minute, but India remained undeterred. Dilpreet Singh sealed the victory for India with a goal in the 60th minute, securing their first away win in the FIH Hockey Pro League this season.
