India’s ongoing tour of New Zealand has been no less than a sports blockbuster, with two Super Over finishes and a 200+ run chase. What more can you ask for? In fact, it is happening for the first time that there have been two Super Overs in a single series. As for the hosts, though, New Zealand have managed to add a dubious record to their name – being the first team to lose four Super Overs.
And as soon as Virat Kohli hit the winning runs on Friday in another of the one-over spectacle, fans couldn’t stop themselves from making fun of the repetitive Super Overs happening in the competition.

While some trolled New Zealand for not being able to win even once, others complained at changing the format of the competition altogether. And one amongst these league of fans happens to be comedian Zakir Khan.
Khan, who recently featured HDFC Life’s Behind The Journey Season 2, suggested a unique way – to make the competition of 21-over – instead of 20 overs.
In a quirky post, the comedian tweeted, “Seedhe 21-21 overs ka match rakh lo na, roz roz kya BP badhate rehte ho. (Keep the match for 21 overs long straightaway, why do you keep raising the blood pressure everyday?) ”
