Dream11 PUN vs TAM Pro Kabaddi League 2019 | Puneri Paltan vs Tamil Thalaivas PKL Prediction

The match 96 of the PKL 2019 season will see Puneri Paltan welcome Tamil Thalaivas at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Wrestling Hall, Pune. Puneri Paltan wasted a glorious chance to boost their chances of making it to a Playoff spot after suffering a massive 33-55 defeat at the hands of Patna Pirates. They hold the best tackling records in the league at an average of 11.44 tackle points per game. Yet, ironically, they also top the list for conceding the most number of points- 546. With 34 points from 16 games and a gap of 9 points between the sixth-placed U Mumba, it seems like the Maharashtrian team may well miss out of the Playoff spot once again this year.

Tamil Thalaivas may share a similar fate, having fallen to the bottom spot in the league table. Many things have gone wrong for the South Indian side this year, both the attack as well as defence. Despite featuring one of the best attacking pair in Ajay Thakur and Rahul Chaudhari, the Thalaivas have managed to score only 467 points this season, fourth-lowest in PKL. Their average points scored count of 26 is the third lowest. The problems are aggravated by the fact that the team has conceded the second most number of points in the league – 531. While technically they may still be in the contest for a spot in Playoffs, it seems highly unlikely.

Dream11 Tips and Tricks For Today’s PKL Match: Puneri Paltan vs Tamil Thalaivas

Defenders: Mohit Chillar, Surjeet Singh, and Hadi Tajik will be our defenders for the night. Surjeet and Mohit are their respective team’s best performing defenders with 42 and 36 points. Although both of them struggled in their last games, we don’t have better options. Hadi Tajik finds a place under our ‘low-cost-high-impact’ quota.

All Rounders:  Manjeet Chillar and Manjeet will be our selections in the middle. Although they share the same first names, the two have contrasting capabilities. The senior Manjeet is adept at scalping prized tackles (he is the league’s most successful tackler till date) while the junior one is more into attacking. Nevertheless, both of them are one of their respective team’s best performers and therefore find a place in our team.

Raiders:  Rahul Chaudhari and VA Kumar There’s a reason we are going with a Tamil Thalaivas-strong attack. As mentioned earlier, Puneri Paltan are one of the most generous teams in the league, giving away the highest number of points so far. Moreover, they also attained the dubious record of giving away the highest number of points in a single game – 55. This will be music to the ears of Rahul Chaudhari and VA Kumar.

My Dream11 Team

Mohit Chillar, Surjeet Singh, Hadi Tajik, Manjeet Chillar, Manjeet, Rahul Chaudhari, VA Kumar.
