Dream11 BEN vs DEL Final | Pro Kabaddi League 2019 | PKL Prediction
After a scintillating action that spanned 132 matches and 13 weeks, there we are- at the finals of the seventh season of the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League. The epic finale of the PKL 2019 season will see Dabang Delhi take on Bengal Warriors tonight at the EKA Arena, Ahmedabad. Very few would be surprised by seeing the two teams in the finals since the duo had ruled the roaster right from the start.
Dabang Delhi’s road to the finals has been a straightforward one. The team was unbeatable for the better part of the group stage, losing only twice in the first 19 games. Although they had a tough patch towards the end, that saw them win none of the last three games (two defeats and a draw), they more than made amends for it by beating Bengaluru Bulls in the semifinals. While Bengaluru were slightly superior in the attack (scoring 28 raid points vs Delhi’s 23), the Dabangs were the best team when it came to tackling (15 points vs Bulls’ paltry 6) giving them the edge. Anil Kumar, Joginder Narwal, and Ravinder Pahal all got 3+ points, and even Chandran Ranjit managed three tackle points.
Bengal Warriors, on the other hand, showed their depth in class in the semifinal against U Mumba. With their star raider-skipper on the bench for the tense game, the onus was always on the likes of Mohammed Nabibaksh and Sukesh Hegde to shine, a job they did with incredible elan. The team smartly capitalized on U Mumba’s deficiencies and inflicted all-outs on just the right occasions. Luck was on Warriors’ side as well, as they were gifted with 5 extra points by the opposition. On Saturday, however, they face an impeccable team in Dabang Delhi. Can they repeat the feat?
The two meetings between Dabang Delhi and Bengal Warriors were slightly contrasting affairs. The first one ended in a thrilling 30-30 draw with K Prapanjan and Naveen Kumar both scoring Super 10s. The second outing, however, ended heavily in Bengal Warriors’ favour, with the team winning 42-33. Maninder Singh (13) and Sukesh Hegde (7) were the star men this time.

Dream11 Tips and Tricks For Today’s PKL Match: Bengal Warriors vs Dabang Delhi
Defenders: Rinku Narwal, Anil Kumar, and Vishal Mane are our chosen defenders for the evening. Anil and Rinku scored 4 and 3 tackle points in the last game respectively, and thus get the nod. Vishal is the best we can get at 14 credits. While we would have loved to have the likes of Ravinder Pahal and Baldev Singh amongst the team, their inflated prices demotivate us. After all, we have got to finance Naveen Kumar (a monstrous 17 credits) as well!
All Rounders: Vijay will be our only all-rounder for the contest. The player has been a force to reckon with in the middle, scoring 59 points, 45 of which have come from raids. At 13 credits, he is another “low cost, high impact” player. Mohammed Nabibaksh is a decent option here. With Maninder Singh probably unavailable, he will play an important role tonight.
Raiders: Naveen Kumar, Chandran Ranjit, and Sukesh Hegde will complete our star raiding unit for the contest. With 283 raid points, a record 21 Super 10s, and an average of 12.86, Naveen Kumar could not have announced his arrival in the Pro Kabaddi League any better. More importantly, his incredible contributions have been in a winning cause. Chandran Ranjith proved his worth in the semifinals by putting in an all-round performance (5 raid, 3 tackle and a bonus) to help Delhi trump Bengaluru Bulls. There is a big question mark whether Maninder Singh, out with a shoulder injury, will feature tonight. In such a scenario, the spotlight will be back on Sukesh Hegde, who was the Warriors’ main man in the attack in the semis.-- Advertisement --
