After making it to the playoffs for the first time in the team’s history last year, Dabang Delhi will be motivated to do one better in the seventh season. The Capital city team has retained their captain and the Iranian all-rounder Meraj Sheykh. But they have spent quite a money to strengthen the rest of the team. Raider Chandran Ranjit was bought for ₹70 lakh while ₹61 lakh were spent on Ravinder Pahal. Krishan Kumar Hooda, who led the team to the playoffs for the very first time in PKL, will be the head coach for the second consecutive season. In return, Delhi has shown signs of progress with two succesive wins in the first two games. Although both wins have come by a margin of just one point.
