Popular football player, Cristiano Ronaldo will open his FIFA World Cup 2022 campaign against Ghana on November 24th at 9:30 PM IST. The 37-year-old, Ronaldo is set to join his long-time rival Lionel Messi in an elite list as soon as he takes the field.

Ronaldo made his FIFA World Cup debut in 2006, Germany. He then played in 2010 (South Africa), 2014 (Brazil), and 2018 (Russia) as well.
In the list of Elite players, four are from Mexico; Antonio Carbajal, Rafael Márquez, Andrés Guardado, and Guillermo Ochoa, and one representative each from Germany and Italy in the form of Lothar Matthäus and Gianluigi Buffon.
