Set to take place from July 4 to 9 in Calgary at the Markin-MacPhail Centre, this Badminton World Federation Super 500 event will feature live streaming of all matches, allowing fans to catch the action from anywhere in the world.

Badminton star, PV Sindhu, currently ranked 12th in the BWF world rankings, aims to bounce back following her absence from the Taipei Open 2023. In her recent BWF World Tour events, the 27-year-old Indian shuttler struggled to progress beyond the second round.

However, Sindhu showcased her potential this season with a runner-up finish at the Madrid Masters 2023 and a semifinal appearance at the Malaysia Masters. As she embarks on her women’s singles campaign at the Canada Open, she will face off against Talia Ng of Canada, currently ranked 61st in the world. HS Prannoy and Kidambi Srikanth have skipped the Canada event.
