Kidambi Srikanth has won his opening group B game on Wednesday in the ongoing tournament of BWF World tour finals in the men’s singles event. He had beaten Toma Junior Popov of France 21-14, 21-16 in a match of 42 minutes.
However, it was really disappointing to know that the Indian duo. N Sikki Reddy and Ashwini Ponnappa lost in their first game of women’s doubles group B of the ongoing tournament. They were defeated by Chiharu Chida and Nami Matsuyama of Japan by 21-14, 21-18 in a 43 minutes match.
The invincible PV Sindhu

The reigning world champion, PV Sindhu also signed up for a straight-game victory. She astonished the audience with her sensational performance in her women’s singles campaign at the tournament. She will be next contesting against Germany’s Yvonne Li.
The two-time Olympic medalist, Sindhu defeated Denmark’s, Line Christophersen. In a lopsided group A contest by scoring 21-14, 21-16 against the rival. She was already authoritative from the beginning of the game and she opened up with a striking lead of 5-2. Though the line made it 7-6, she did not give up. Sindhu took her lead back by gaining 10 straight points making it 16-8. No sooner she made it to a glorifying victory over her opponent.
