Indian Paralympic team won three more medals in the ongoing Asian Youth Paralympic Games 2021, Bahrain, this Friday. Kashish Lakra (F51) won a gold medal for India. The Tokyo Paralympian secured this medal in the club throw.
Another medal was secured by Laxit (F54) in the javelin throw. He got a bronze medal for India while Sanjay R.Neelam (F11) bagged another bronze medal in shot put.

Ananya Bansal (F20) secured the first medal for India earlier. She had bagged a silver medal in Shot Put. Ananya Bansal suffers from intellectual impairment.
About the Asian Youth Paralympic Games 2021
The 2021 Asian Youth Paralympic games are being held in Bahrain. It is the 4th Asian Youth Paralympic game (AYPG). The games are being held from December 2nd to December 6th.
No less than 750 athletes from as many as 30 nations are participating. The participants all are aged less than 23. There are in total nine sports in which the athletes can participate.
The nine sports are Para-Athletics, Para-Powerlifting, Para-Taekwondo, Para-Badminton, Boccia, Para-Table tennis, goalball, Para-Swimming, and Wheelchair Basketball.
The flag bearers for India in the opening ceremony were Praveen Kumar and Palak Kohli.
