India has now won a total of 36 medals in the ongoing Asian Para Games in Bahrain. Out of these 14 medals are bronze, 11 are Silver, and 11 are Gold.-- Advertisement --
Darsh Ashish Soni won the silver medal in Long Jump T-44/46/47 on Sunday. The gold medal in the Long Jump T-46 event was won by Karandeep Kumar and Praveen Kumar bought another Silver Medal in Long Jump T-44.

In the shot-put, Vikas Bhatiwal won a silver medal in the F46 division. Bennet Biju George too won a bronze medal in the T-46 men’s 400m event.
Other Medal Winners

Indian Paralympian, Ananya Bansal won a silver medal too. She did it in the U20 (F20) category of shot-put.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Reddy Neelam had clinched a bronze medal in shot put too at the F11 division. Another bronze medal was won in the Javelin throw by Laxit in the F54 division.-- Advertisement --
Asian Youth Paralympic Games 2021
The 4th Asian Youth Para game (AYPG) will end on December 6th. The host this time around is Bahrain.
750 athletes from 30 nations are said to be participating. There are in total nine sports in which athletes less than 23 years of age can participate.
Para-Athletics, Para-Powerlifting, Para-Taekwondo, Para-Badminton, Boccia, Para-Table tennis, goalball, Para-Swimming, and Wheelchair Basketball are the nine sports in which they can compete.
Praveen Kumar and Palak Kohli held the flag for India at the opening event.
