Aslam Inamdar, who had an impressive debut against Korea the previous day, continued to shine. He secured his second super 10 of the tournament. Notably, Sachin Tanwar also made a significant contribution, accumulating 10 raid points.

Both India and Japan entered the contest with two victories each. However, the Indian team proved to be unstoppable. Despite Japan’s commanding 85-11 win over Hong Kong and a 45-18 win against Korea earlier in the day, they struggled to find answers against the formidable Indian kabaddi team.

India demonstrated their dominance by inflicting six all-outs on Japan, three in each half. The defending champions swiftly secured their first all-out within the fourth minute and swiftly raced to an 18-0 lead before Japan managed to open their account in the eighth minute. The first half concluded with a score of 32-6 in favor of India. Captain Pawan Sehrawat emerged as India’s top raider in the first half, amassing six points.

Despite a better performance and quick scores in the second half, India emerged victorious with an impressive 45-point margin.

In earlier matches of the tournament, India exhibited their dominance by overpowering Korea 76-13, followed by a convincing 53-19 win against Chinese Taipei on Tuesday. The Indian kabaddi team is now eagerly preparing to face Iran in a highly anticipated match scheduled for Thursday. Notably, Iran has also maintained an unbeaten record in the tournament thus far.
