India set ambitious goals and achieved remarkable success at the Asian Games today. The Indian contingent had a fantastic beginning, securing a Gold medal in the women’s 25m Pistol Team event and a Silver in the women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions Team event. Additionally, the Men’s Skeet team earned a Bronze medal for the country, and sailor Vishnu Saravana also contributed to the medal tally by winning a Bronze. Sift Kaur Samra achieved a historic milestone by reaching the pinnacle of success in the Women’s 50m Rifle 3 Position Finals in Asian Games. She secured a remarkable score of 469.6, breaking the previous world record of 467.0 points held by Seonaid McIntosh from Great Britain.

They narrowly missed the first-place position, which was seized by China, with a nine-point lead, while the Republic of Korea secured the bronze medal, achieving a total score of 1756.
