Indian professional golfer, Anirban Lahiri is looking forward to giving some spectacular performances at the Players Championship starting from Thursday. After some of his not-so-good stint in the last three matches, he is all set to ace his game in this upcoming tournament.
His last three performances at the Players Championship did not go well, all of them ending after 36 holes. Lahiri again had an opportunity to be on top-10 but the Island Green took away the chance.
Focusing on increasing his technical game
Currently, Lahiri is focussing on improving and enhancing his skills, making some technical alters and appears to be promising with his level-up game.
Talking to the media, Anirban Lahiri expressed, “Physically I feel good, mentally I feel good and I personally think I’ve turned the corner as far as my golf swing is concerned,” he said. “Ipsa has been my lady luck and hopefully Tisya can bring me more luck which I could do with some right now.”

60 years of Desert Classic history @desert_classic. Excited to be teeing it up at the tournament celebrating this milestone. The 3 course Pro-Am format makes it a nice challenge which we otherwise rarely play. #DesertClassic @PGATOUR #CurryPower pic.twitter.com/RSOlbkrdUB

After taking a considerable amount of time off golf with his wife waiting for the arrival of their daughter Tisya early last month, he is back with unmatchable energy. Lahiri became a dad for the first time which he assumes to be his lucky charm in the upcoming Championship.
Besides Lahiri, defending champion, Webb Simpson will confront two-time Player’s Championship winner Tiger Woods, current FedExCup No. 1 Xander Schauffele and World No. 1 Justin Rose.
