Rayudu, who has been an integral part of CSK since 2018, has tasted success with the franchise, securing two IPL titles. He initially embarked on his IPL journey with the Mumbai Indians in 2010 and clinched his first title with them in 2013.

Rayudu’s association with MS Dhoni‘s side helped him establish himself as a powerful hitter. Sporting the yellow jersey, he recorded some of his best strike rates in the IPL, scoring at an impressive 149.75 in his debut season with CSK when they lifted the title in 2018.

Remarkably, it also marked Rayudu’s most prolific season in terms of runs, amassing 602 runs in 16 matches. He continued his success in 2021, contributing significantly to CSK’s triumph with a strike rate of 151.17 in 16 matches.

In the 2023 season, Rayudu’s performance with the bat has been mixed; nevertheless, he earned the unwavering trust of captain MS Dhoni, featuring in all 15 matches so far and accumulating 139 runs at a strike rate of 132.28.

Rayudu is also in the exclusive club of players who have appeared in 200 or more IPL games. With 4,239 runs in the league, he currently stands as the 12th highest run-scorer in IPL history.
