Aditya Tare is an Indian right-handed batsman who plays for Uttarakhand at the Domestic level. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), he represents the Mumbai Indians (MI) franchise. He remained unsold in IPL Auction 2022.
Tare is famously remembered for a six which made Mumbai Indians qualify against all odds. Despite an impressive overall career, that one ball glory seems to be Tare’s career-defining moment.

Tare has played most of the age-level tournaments for the Mumbai team. He has even captained the side at the U-19 and U-22 levels.
Tare made his List-A debut for Mumbai in 2008. In his first match, his team played against Baroda. More than a year later, he made his debut in first-class cricket too. In his debut first-class cricket match, his team was to play against Orissa.
In a corporate trophy match, playing for IOC against Reliance. Aditya tare dominated the bowling, impressing the Reliance owners. Later, he was recruited for the 2010 IPL season by Mumbai Indians.
Due to injuries, Tare was unable to play in the 2010-11 Ranji Trophy. But, the next year he came back in style, becoming the second-highest run-scorer for Mumbai.
He also made a record for most dismissals as a wicket-keeper in Ranji Trophy. He was part of no less than 41 dismissals.
In 2015, Aditya Tare replaced Suryakumar Yadav as Mumbai Ranji Captain. He also captained the team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Aditya made his T20 debut on 20th October 2009. The debut came during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He made his first-class debut in 2009.

Aditya Tare IPL

Aditya Tare was bought by Mumbai Indians before the 2010 IPL. Since then, he has not played many matches for Mumbai or any other team he has been part of.
However, Aditya Tare was part of a few winning seasons for the Mumbai Indians. Most notably, during their debut winning season, Tare was responsible for the boundary which qualified them to the play-offs.
In 2016, he was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise for 25 lakhs. He played only 3 matches for them and failed to score many runs.
The next year, he was bought by the Delhi Daredevils in 2017. They too played him for only 3 matches. In 2018, he was back into the Mumbai Indians squad for 20 lakhs. However, he has failed to play a single match for them.
