The end is almost over. The Indian Premier League is all set for another year of cricketing extravaganza starting from the upcoming IPL Auctions. The latest edition is scheduled to be held in the Indian pink city of Jaipur on 18th December 2018. The exciting event will see the eight franchise fighting each other on the table instead of the pitch.
All of them will have just one thing on their mind – to secure some of the best cricket talents for themselves. The latest edition of auctions has seen as many as 346 players being shortlisted from over 1,000 who had applied for the same.
Except for the defending champions Chennai Super Kings, all the rest of the franchises have been ruthless ahead of the 11th edition of the auctions. Most have released multiple players with a view of rebuilding the squad to have the best shot at the title.
