Pink Panthers vs Bengaluru Bulls Preview
The Jaipur Pink Panthers will go up against Bengaluru Bulls in the Inter-Zone Wildcard match in Kolkata on Thursday.
Jaipur has had a dismal season so far with elimination from the tournament already confirmed. This will be their last meeting of the 2018 PKL season. Nonetheless, Panthers have shown a marked improvement in the latter part of the season which is worthy of appreciation considering their season was already over some time ago. They have lost just 2 of their last seven matches. (Both their defeats came against table toppers Gujarat Fortune Giants)
Bengaluru Bulls, on the other hand, have topped the Zone B points table with 73 points. As a result, they have also guaranteed a place in the knockout stage of the league. Bulls started the season as one of the most feared raiding groups and slowly evolved their defensive game as well.
Will @BengaluruBulls test their bench strength ahead of the playoffs or will they go #FullChargeMaadi to ensure they hold on to the top spot in Zone B? All the answers from #JAIvBEN will come to you LIVE, on Star Sports.

However, things have not gone as well off late. After defeating their southern counterparts Telugu Titans by 34-26, they went on to lose to Bengal Warriors (37-44) and Dabang Delhi (31-32) in consecutive matches. More recently, they were summoned to another defeat again by Bengal Warriors (31-37) after a thrilling 40-40 draw against Patna Pirates.
This match will thus prove to be an ideal testing pit for Bengaluru before they go on to play in the knockouts.
